Science : $\frac{(160 + 168 + 150 + 180 + 160) \times 50}{250 \times 300} \times 100$ = $\frac{(160 + 168 + 150 + 180 + 160)}{5 \times 300} \times 100$ = 54.5%

Social : $\frac{(168 + 160 + 150 + 170 + 180) \times 50}{250 \times 300} \times 100$ = $\frac{(168 + 160 + 150 + 170 + 180)}{5 \times 300} \times 100$ = 55.2%

Hindi : $\frac{(80 + 96 + 84 + 90 + 84) \times 50}{250 \times 200} \times 100$ = $\frac{(80 + 96 + 84 + 90 + 84)}{5 \times 200} \times 100$ = 43.4%

In Hindi boys secured the lowest average percentage.

why there is 250 in the denominator?

There are 50 boys in a school hence including all 5 schools there are 250 students.

To calculate average marks of boys we add marks of boys from each of these 5 schools and then divide it by total number of boys i.e., 250.
